Israeli wines featured at one of the world's most trendy wine venues.
City Winery was founded in the center of Manhattan in New York as a venue for wine production, music, food & wine.
They recently held a Winemakers Dinner featuring the wines of Carmel Winery from Zichron Ya'acov and Yatir Winery from Tel Arad. The event was hosted by Michael Dorf, owner of City Winery, Gary Landsman, marketing manager of Royal Wine and Arnon Geva, international business director of Carmel & Yatir.
The guest speaker was Adam Montefiore, wine development director of Carmel Winery.
A five course dinner was held within the winery itself, between the stainless steel tanks. The caterer was Esprit Events. The wines served to the 65 attendees are listed below. They were tasted in a series of flights and the wines covered all the main wine regions of Israel from the Negev to the Upper Galilee.
