
Barry Saslove, a Canadian computer engineer, has been a wine aficionado for many years. In 1998 Barry decided that it was time to take his passion to the next level establishing the Saslove Winery. Barry considers himself first and foremost as a wine educator. Over the years more than 3000 people have participated in Barry’s various wine courses and work shops.
Wine enthusiasts from around the country are invited to participate in Saslove's 3 hour seminars which will focus on:
1 – Wine tasting techniques: (viewing, swirling, smelling and tasting)
2 – Wine tasting terminology
3 – Pairing Food with wine
4 – Rules of ordering and returning wine at restaurants
5 – Storing and ageing wine at home
And of course a sampling of various wines
By the way winemaker Roni Saslove (Barry's daughter) also holds interesting wine tasting workshops which focus on the different smells, aromas and sensations one encounters when tasting wine.
