
In France, on January 18th 2010, there is a tasting of Israeli wines at the OIV, 18 Rue d’Aguesseau, Paris. The event is hosted by the Commercial Affairs Department at the Embassy of Israel in Paris and organized by The Israel Export Institute. The tasting will take place between 10.30 and 17.00 hours.
France is the largest market for Israeli wines in Europe. The wineries taking part are:
Adir, Avidan, Barkan, Binyamina, Carmel, Castel, Ella Valley, Flam, Galil Mountain, Golan Heights, Hevron, Margalit, Recanati, Rimon, Sea Horse, Segal, Teperberg, Tishbi and Yatir.
In America, on February 1st 2010, Israeli wines participate in the Kosher Restaurant & Wine Experience. It will be held from 18.30 hours at Pier 60, Chelsea Piers, 23rd Street at West Street, New York. The event is being organized by Royal Wine Corp. the main importer of Israeli wines to the USA, which is the world’s largest market for Israeli wines outside Israel. The Israeli wineries taking part are: Barkan, Binyamina, Carmel, Castel, Gamla (Golan Heights Winery), Psagot, Segal, Shilo, Tzuba, Yatir and Zion.
In Israel, from February 9th to 11th 2010, IsraWineExpo will take place at the Tel Aviv Convention Center. This is the premier wine exhibition in Israel. All the leading wineries are expected to participate. The exhibition is open to trade only on February 9th, from 10.00 to 22.00. On February 10th and 11th, it is open to the public from 16.00 to 22.00.
