Tulip Winery from Kfar Tikva, near Kiryat Tivon, was one of six winners in the competition for small businesses organized by Yediot Aharonot, Israel’s biggest selling newspaper, and Discount Bank.
Located not far from Haifa, this winery is owned by the Itzhaki family. They produce 80,000 bottles a year. They are particularly well-known for their Syrah Reserve and Shiraz, both of which have been recognized by wine critics, including Robert Parker and The Wine Spectator.
Kfar Tikva, which translates as “The Village Of Hope’, is a residential community for people with special needs, some of whom are employed at the winery.
Roy Itzhaki, the young dynamic managing director of the winery, is pictured in the photo.
